Funky Pumpkin has been a part of Christchurch since October 1999. We first opened at 569a Colombo St, South City, making noises about "Country prices in the heart of the city." We employed five people then, but now we employ more than seventy!

Since those early days we have opened stores at 292 Colombo St in Sydenham and also at 100 New Brighton Mall. The South City store has recently been relocated to 227 Blenheim Rd, a new development known as Blenheim Square. If you can find Mad Butcher, Couplands and Liquorland, you can also find us. We recommend you enter off Archeron Drive.

Not only do we sell the World's Freshest Fruit and Veges to more than 18,000 families, we also have a busy wholesale division which supplies more than 120 restaurants, bars and bakeries around Christchurch and Canterbury. We've become something of a household name during the last six years. We've been associated with many events, from the Santa Parade to fruit bowls at the local Kindergarten's Quiz Night and everything in between. We've sponsored sports teams and individual athletes. We advertise on TV, Radio, Newspapers and the Internet. But then we were never out to seek a low profile, and if you've ever seen our "promo car" you'll know what we mean!
